The Tibia Library maps are based off of the minimap view of Tibia and uses Google's API for navigation, so it should be very familiar to most of you. Depending on your browser, there may be slight differences but it should work on most platforms.

Navigation

Zoom: You can zoom by either using the controls in the upper left corner or using the scroll wheel on your mouse.  If you use the scroll wheel, it will zoom in the general direction of where your mouse poinnter is.  If you want to make sure that you maintain the exact coordinates between zoom levels, make sure to use the buttons rather than the scroll wheel.

Pan: Left-click and drag your mouse to pan across the map, release it to stop panning.

Change Level: In the upper right corner are up- and down-arrows to change levels.

Information Box

Hide/Show Information: Clicking on this text will toggle whether the information box is shown or not.

Crosshair: Select or deselect to show the crosshair on the map.

Coordinates: The x (horizontal), y (vertical), and z (level) coordinates of the current location highlighted by the crosshair.

Books Here?: Used to tag books in the library in the field "Other books here." If you click on it, it will open up a new window with any books that are found at that location. This tag will always be present, even if there are no books at the location.

Direct link: A direct link at the current zoom level of the map at Tibia Library.

TibiaML: A direct link to the sattelite view map at TibiaML.  On the lowest floor (-8) the map is incorrectly aligned at TibiaML by 2 sqm on the x and y axis and on the next lowest floor (-7) it is misaligned by 1 sqm on the x and y axis.  You may check the minimap view at TibiaML to confirm.

TibiaWiki: A direct link to Tibia Wiki's mapper. The link is correct, however the internal coordinate system at TibiaWiki is currently off by 1 pixel due to a black line at the top of their map.  If this is fixed we will update our link to TibiaWiki.

New Map Not Showing

When the maps are updated, sometimes new areas will not show for you because older files are stored in your browsers cache. To show the maps, clear your browsers cache of the temporary files.
